Jelena Djokovic (nee Ristic) was born on the 17th of June 1986 in Belgrade, Serbia. Her father’s name is Miomir while her mother’s name is Vera. Djokovic spent her formative years in Belgrade. It must be noted that she comes from a humble background; Her parents weren’t doing well, but they still managed to please their children. Due to her humble background, Jelena Djokovic realized early on that if she wanted to achieve anything in life, she had to work hard. She therefore surrounded herself with books and later became a standout student in elementary and high school.
career
After graduating from high school, Jelena Djokovic was able to get scholarships for foreign college education, which had always been her ambitions. She attended Bocconi University in Milan, where she received her first degree in business administration. After that, she also attended the International University of Monaco, where she did her Masters in Luxury Brand Management. All of Djokovic’s hard work paid off when she landed a job at a leading energy company after graduating. She spent two years at the company, then boldly branched out and founded her own consulting firm called Jelena Ristic Consulting in 2011.

Djokovic is also the only man to have won all nine Masters 1000 titles. Even legends like Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer can’t boast of such a feat! Jelena Djokovic met her husband when they were both in high school. They later became friends and had a platonic relationship for about five years before becoming lovers in 2005.
