Professionally known as Jeremy Piven, Jeremy Samuel Piven is a Hollywood producer and actor who became a family member after starring as Ari Gold in the comedy series Entourage. Piven is also known for playing Spence Kovak in the Ellen DeGeneres sitcom Ellen and for also starring in the British period drama Mr. Selfridge.

Jeremy Piven has won several awards, including the Emmy Awards, which he has won three times, as well as the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Series, Miniseries or Television Movie.

A brief biography

Jeremy was born in Manhattan, New York on July 26, 1965. He grew up in Evanston, Illinois and attended Evanston Township High School in Evanston, Illinois.

His parents Byrne Piven and Joyce Hiller Piven were actors and taught theater while his older sister, Shira Piven, is a film director. She also plays occasionally. Jeremy describes Shira as his first acting teacher. He is from a rebuilderJewish family of Ukrainian and Jewish origin.

After high school, he studied at DrakeDes Moines University (Iowa) for two years before transferring to New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. Piven left Tisch in his senior year to pursue his acting career.

Career

Acting is something he loved since childhood. As a teenager, he attended Harand Theater Camp in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, and during this time portrayed Bernardo in West Side Story.

He would later train in a theater workshop, the Piven Theater Workshop, owned by his parents. Piven also spent a semester at the National Theater Institute in Waterford, Connecticut at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center.

In 1986, he starred as Spike in Lucas (a romantic drama directed by David Seltzer), which also starred Charlie Sheen, Corey Haim, Courtney Thorne-Smith and Kerri Green. His first major role came in 1992, when he started playing Jerry on HBO. The Larry Sanders Show. It ceased after the second season.

In 1993, he appeared in an episode of the sitcom Seinfeld as George Costanza, he also played Spence, Ellen’s cousin, in the sitcom Ellen Jeremy starred in and was the producer of the short-lived ABC drama series Cupid duration . Additionally, he guest-starred in three episodes of Justice League Unlimited as the voice of the Lying Man.

He made guest appearances in the animated comedy Cars and Rush Hour 2. In 2017, he appeared in Common’s music video for Drivin’ Me Wild. In 2009, he was a guest on the wrestling program WWE Raw .

The Hollywood actor isn’t gay – at least he doesn’t come as one. He is also unmarried, but has however dated several women, including X Factor winner Alexandra Burke, Australian model Racheal Hunter, model Ashley Chontos, Kate Nardi, Erica Lancellotti and Darcie Lincoln.

He has also been linked to Nikki Benz, Melrose Bickerstaff and Sophie Turner.

Amid sexual accusations against him, Jeremy Piven was spotted in Los Angeles with a new girl, Liana Mendoza.

Sexual accusations

The Entourage star has been accused of sexual assault by six different women. In 2017, actress Ariane Bellamar accused Piven of inappropriately fondling her twice — on the set of Entourage and at the Playboy mansion.

Jeremy has denied accusations claiming heTiffany Bacon Scourby, another woman, also claimed the star attacked her in 2003, according to her Piven jumped on her, exposed his genitals, held his hands up down and started rubbing him against his body until he ejaculated.

An extra on Entourage, Anastasia Taneie, also came out to allege Piven cornered her in a dark hallway and felt her chest and genitals; the V-zone as he forcefully pushed her against a wall. In January 2018, an article on Buzzfeed revealed that three other women had been accused of sexual violence and inappropriate behavior by Piven.

Piven denied all the allegations, calling them “absolutely false and completely fabricated”, but his denials were not enough to clear his name.
