Jerry Lawrence Solomon is the son of RobertaMadison and Edward D. Solomon. Although his exact date of birth is not known, we do know that he was born in 1954. It is believed that Solomon had a comfortable life growing up in California as his father was a successful businessman in the 80’s. His father Edward was once the CEO of the retail chain – Shoe-Town Inc.
Solomon’s academic records show that he graduated high, after which he graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He is a graduate of Colombian University and has a Masters in International Business.
Jerry Solomon was able to successfully transition from one role to another in his career. In the early 1990’s he made a name for himself in the sports industry working as a sports agent for various sports legends.
He first served as a director of the Volvo Grand, after five years he joined ProServ where he rose from senior vice president to the company’s marketing president. While at ProServ, he met his future wife, Nancy Kerrigan, and became her manager. As Nancy’s manager, Solomon helped the professional figure skater land various lucrative deals with top brands such as Reebok, Campbell Soup Company and Revlon.

Jerry Solomon is best known as the husband of American figure skater Nancy Kerrigan. Solomon has been more than a significant opponent for Kerrigan as he is also her manager. The couple, who began dating in the mid-1990s, walked the thread on September 9, 1995 in Boston. Together the couple has three children (two boys and one girl). Their first son Matthew was welcomed in 1996, the second Brian was born in 2005 and their daughter Nicole was born in 2008.
Contrary to expectations, Jerry and Nancy have formed a lasting bond for almost three decades. Though the power couple has been inseparable up until now, their love journey hasn’t been without a story. Solomon is Kerrigan’s first husband, but the same cannot be said of the sports executive, who was married twice prior to his union with the pro skater.
Solomon and Nancy reportedly first met while he was Marketing Manager at ProServ, while he was still married to his second wife, Kathy. Given that he has represented Nancy as manager since 1992, the figure skater was once accused of being the reason for Solomon and Kathy’s split in October 1993. Jerry and Nancy are said to have started a relationship before his split, but the duo vehemently denied the allegations, insisting their romance didn’t begin until the summer of 1994. In addition to his children with Nancy, Jerry also has two other sons from his previous marriages.

Jerry Solomon’s wife Nancy Kerrigan is a professional figure skater. A successful athlete, she is a bronze medalist and silver medalist for both the 1992 Winter Olympics and the 1994 Winter Olympics. After the final tournament in Lillehammer, Norway, Kerrigan retired from active competition that same year. After that, she occasionally appeared in ice skating exhibitions. Despite being retired, Kerrigan’s name still speaks for her in the sport.
