BIOGRAPHY
Trained at the National Youth Ballet, Jessica Brown Findlay was invited to dance at the age of 15 at the Kirov Ballet in London during the summer season. It was after an ankle injury that she abandoned her dancing shoes and took up acting. She learned to act at Central Saint Martin’s University in London and immediately started on television at the age of 20 in the series Misfits , where she played the prudish Rachel, endowed with a power to influence the behavior of those around him.

Jessica then continued with the British series Downton Abbey where she played the independent Lady Sybil Crawley, the youngest of the heiress family. The actress left the series after the third season, for fear of not being able to play another role. She continued her rise with the series Black Mirror (2011) and Labyrinth (2012). And thanks to these multiple appearances, producers approached her and the British actress landed the leading role in Niall MacCormick ‘s drama Albatross where she plays Emelia, an aspiring writer.

The year 2014 propelled her into two feature films: the fantasy romance A Winter’s Love , alongside Colin Farrell and in Lullaby with Amy Adams . In 2015, the actress was Lorelei in Paul McGuigan ‘s Frankenstein , co-starring with James McAvoy and Daniel Radcliffe .
