Jesy Nelson is known for being a member of British girl group Little Mix. She was born to Janice White and John Nelson Romford in East London. Her mother is a police officer and her father is a businessman. She was raised next to her three siblings. one sister – Jade and two brothers – Jonathan and Joseph.

Before Jesy became popular for being a member of Petit Mix, she had worked as a bartender in an Essex neighborhood bar. She auditioned for the eighth season of the UK version of The X Factor in 2011 and couldn’t make it past boot camp. Fortunately, a second chance with the group Faux pas started his career with Little Mix.

Jesy Nelson sealed her place in a new group by naming it Rhythmix; which consisted of two faux pas members and two Orion members no Jesy, Jade, Perrie, and Leigh-Anne. Rhythmix then attended The X Factor concerts under coach Tulisa Contostavlos. The judges highlighted their potentials and called them a future group.
