The unique radio personality was born in Nelsonville, Ohio, USA on March 26, 1956. He was raised by his parents, John Michael and Betty Corby. In terms of his education, Corby attended Logan High School where he showed his distinct talent in track and field as his high school’s star athlete. He later enrolled at Ohio State University and similarly became a star by fully participating in varsity baseball and playing the position of catcher.
Launching his long-running journalism career, he spent more than three decades as an on-air personality at WNCI radio station, where he got his first gig as a news director. The brilliant broadcaster got the chance to show the world his special talent when he starred in the channel’s morning show.
After such a wonderful time at Radio Station, he was recruited by WTVN. John Corby became a listener’s favorite during his ten years as a radio presenter due to his overwhelming personality.
