BIOGRAPHY
Born in Honduras, José Zúñiga moved to New York City at age seven. Years later, after deciding that he wanted to dedicate himself to acting, he moved to the city of Los Angeles and began working in front of the cameras in the early 1990s. He soon landed important projects such as Frank Marshall’s film based on real events ¡Ven! (1993) in which a Uruguayan rugby team stranded in the snow of the Andes is forced to take desperate measures to survive after a plane crash. Years later, Zúñiga played a memorable role in Catherine Hardwicke’s popular Twilight (2008). In 2017, he participated in the adaptation of Stephen King’s novel The Dark Tower and, in 2021, he is part of the cast of the new film starring Luis Gerardo Méndez and Connor Del Rio Half Brothers , in which they both play a pair of brothers who, without first meeting each other, must embark on a road trip to learn their father’s story.
