Kalani Hilliker’s exceptional talents were announced to Americans in 2013 when she entered the second season of Lifetime’s Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition in 4th place. Soon after, she became the main cast of another Lifetime reality series, Dance Moms.

Kalani Brooke Hilliker was born on September 23, 2000, in Phoenix, Arizona. Hilliker showed a passion for dancing as a child, much to the delight of her mother, who enrolled her in dancing lessons, in part because she would like to dress her up.

Hilliker has two maternal step-brothers, Jett Newman and Jax Hilliker. His mother had the boys of two different men.

By the age of 11, Kalani had started making waves with her talent. She was part of the dance group AKsquared, which became the first winner of Disney’s Make Your Mark: Ultimate Dance Off – Shake It Up. At the 2011 The Dance Awards, Kalani was the 2nd runner-up in the Mini Best Dancer category.

Since then, his career has grown exponentially rapidly. With her dance group, she performed in an episode of the Disney television series Shake It Up, as part of their award.

In 2013 Hilliker won the Dance Awards for Junior Best Female Dancer. That same year, she appeared in an uncredited role as a dancer on ABC’s short-lived series, Bunheads. Kalani then joined the second season of Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition and earned fourth place.

In 2014, Kalani made an appearance on an episode of America’s Got Talent. Together with her mother, Kalani joined the main cast of Dance Moms in 2014 from the 4th season. Kalani and her mother left the show in the fifth season for family reasons but returned in the fifth season.

Fans were shocked in May 2016 when it was revealed that Kalani’s mother, Kira, has a criminal past. Leaked court documents revealed she was involved in a fraudulent crime in 2009 when she tricked people on eBay into buying fake plasma HDTVs. She was fined $5,975 and sentenced to two years probation.

Luckily, the revelation didn’t affect Kalani’s career. In 2016, she earned a Teen Choice Award nomination for Choice Dancer. She’s also been busy building her filmography with projects like Breaking Brooklyn and Swiped.

Kalani has appeared in a handful of music videos, including Todrick Hall’s “Ease On Down The Boulevard.”

Kalani is left-handed.

The Bachelor is her guilty pleasure in television, but she’s also obsessed with Grey’s Anatomy.

Her favorite dish is frozen yogurt. She almost can’t resist it. Favorite ice cream flavor is mint chocolate chip.

Kalani’s favorite toppings are pineapple and ham.

And the word she’s most guilty of using? “BED!”

Kalani goes completely nuts when “when people say things assuming they think they know what happened.”

She prefers Instagram to Twitter… Apparently, that’s where she has the most followers, 4.4 million. Down that!

As a teenager, Kalani achieved a level of achievement that many adults can only wish for.

In addition to her talent, Kalani is from her own collection of dancewear called Purple Pixes. It also has a line of socks and a collection of sportswear.

Kalani, for her birthday present, received a white Range Rover from her mother and stepfather.

However, at this point in her career, it’s unclear how much she’s really worth, but we bet there will be plenty of zeros if she continues at this rate.
