Although his birth took place on July 6, 1985, in Kilmallock, Limerick, Ireland, Killian Scot moved to Sandymount, Dublin with his family when he was very young. His childhood memories and early education can be traced back to Dublin, where he grew up with his older siblings – Eoghan Murphy, a renowned politician from Ireland’s Fine Gael party, and Colin Murphy, a successful playwright. His parents’ names are yet to be revealed by the actor.
Killian was named after his Cillian Murphy parents welcomed him into the family, but when he was ready to rise to the limelight, he changed his name to Killian Scott. This is done to break away from the established Irish actor who goes by the same name (Cillian Murphy – born May 25, 1976 in Douglas, Cork, Ireland).
