As she was completing her sentence, she gave birth to a girl whom she named Milan in 2008. As a new mom fresh out of prison, she reached out to Mike Tyson, who was primarily struggling with addiction. The two soon got back together.

Although they couldn’t live together in Las Vegas since both were ex-cons, they often visited each other. Overwhelmed by her love for him, Mike Tyson changed his behavior and stood up for her. They then wed in a very private ceremony at the La Bella Wedding Chapel at the Las Vegas Hilton on November 9th of June 2009. It was their first wedding but the third for Tyson, who was married to Robin Givens and later Monica Turner. He has stated in an interview that it was truly a life-saving experience for him.
