BIOGRAPHY
Lee Majors’ first cinematic participation dates back to 1965 for the horror film La Meurtriere diabolique , participation for which he is not credited. It was three years later, for the western Will Penny, the Solitaire , that his name appeared for the first time in a credits.
It is through the small screen that Lee Majors will become a star. In 1973 he became Steve Austin, the bionic hero of the series The Man Who Was Worth 3 Billion . The same year, he married actress Farrah Fawcett and set up a production company with her, allowing him to pursue a career in cinema at the same time. He was at the origin of films like The Norseman and Invasion of the Piranhas in 1978. He filmed alongside Robert Mitchum for Spies in the City in 1980. His marriage to the Funny Lady ended two years later.
During the 80s, Lee Majors devoted himself exclusively to television with the series The Man Who Falls Right , except to join the impressive cast of Fantômes en fête in 1988. It was not until 1997 that he returns to the big screen for his “wink” participation in the film Trojan War , where he plays a police officer named Austin. Since then, Lee Majors has appeared in numerous films, including the comedies Bad Liar and Snow, Sex & Sun in 2001.
