The accomplished actor was born Marcus Pail Blucas on January 11, 1972 to Mary Catherine Gordon and Walter Joseph Lucas in Butler, Pennsylvania. He is the younger of two children born to the couple. His older sister’s name is Katherine. His mother was a principal and his father was a principal. Marc’s father was also an athlete so he grew up to be an athletic kid. He was the star of the basketball team from middle school through high school, leading his team to many wins and two 2-A trophies. Marc had the honor of being one of the best players in the country in high school. He was averaging 20.8 points and 10.2 rebounds per game at this point. Thanks to him, his school was ranked as one of the best high school programs in the country.
