BIOGRAPHY
A drama graduate, Marc Cherry considered a career as an actor, notably appearing in Strangers Kiss in 1983. Three years later, after winning $15,000 on a game show, the young man moved to Hollywood and turned to acting. audiovisual writing. Entering show business by becoming Dixie Carter ‘s personal assistant on the sitcom Business Women and Ladies of the Heart , he only signed his first script, that of an episode of Homeroom , in 1989.
