New York University professor Mathew MarioRiveria was born on May 24, 1985 in the metropolitan city of New York. He is an American of white ethnicity. His mother, Loraine V. Vetter, served as a registered nurse at St. Catherine of Sienna Medical Center, while his father, Daniel O. Rivera, although retired, made ends meet as a second lieutenant. Unfortunately, a few years after his birth, his parents’ marriage collapsed and his mother married Larry Vetter, who works in a consulting firm.
