BIOGRAPHY
A graduate of Florida State University in drama, the young American continued her theater studies in London, before returning to try her luck in Los Angeles. She then took her first steps in front of the camera in a short film, and managed to establish herself in 2007 in the western The Mustachioed Bandit Meets His End , released only in California. His cinematic experiences allowed him to land a small role in season 1 of The Cleaner , a drama series in which a man who has managed to overcome his addictions comes to the aid of those who have not yet succeeded. She then continued with Cold Case: Cold Case , the popular CBS detective show , and played a victim in Valentine’s Day Murders , a 3D remake of the cult 1980s slasher. Alongside her television appearances, Boone carried out her theatrical projects, notably in producing and performing the play “Everyday Lemonade” by Charles L. Mee. Her acting was recognized with the Best Female Comedy Performance award at the LA Weekly Theater Awards .
The actress confirmed her talent and continued her career on the big screen in 2010, in The Myth of the American Sleepover , where teenagers enjoy their last weekend of vacation hoping to experience a wonderful romance. The same year, she joined the Sex and the City team for the second part of the film adaptation of the eponymous series led by Sarah Jessica Parker . A medical student in HMS , the pilot ultimately does not convince those responsible for the CW channel. The actress then moved towards other productions and slipped into the shoes of assistant prosecutor Lauren Stanton, for the spin-off of Law & Order entitled Los Angeles Judicial Police . The show did not go beyond the first season due to lack of audience. The following year, she participated in the sulphurous About Cherry , which follows the misadventures of an eighteen-year-old young woman enlisted in the pornographic world of California. Among the cast, Ashley Hinshaw ( True Blood ), James Franco and Heather Graham are there. Subsequently, she played the leading female role in the romantic drama Leave Me Like You Found Me , which earned her the best actress award at the Gen Art Film Festival , and participated in the danceable Sexy Dance 4 – Miami Heat. Subsequently, Boone wore the role of a detective for Blue Bloods , the family cop show with Tom Selleck ( Magnum ).
But it was in 2013 that the artist came to the attention of the general public. After following Jean-Claude Van Damme on the tropical island of the adventure comedy Welcome to the Jungle , and providing her voice for the animated program Robot Chicken , the young woman plays the character of Elizabeth Keen in Blacklist . This rookie FBI profiler is forced to cooperate with an ex-fugitive ( James Spader ), who gradually denounces criminals with whom he collaborated. The series, broadcast in France in primetime on TF1, lifts the veil over the episodes on the gray areas surrounding the protagonists.
