BIOGRAPHY
The youngest boxer to have won, at the age of 20, a world champion title, heavyweight category, Mike Tyson is experiencing a meteoric rise in the ring. He retained his title for three consecutive years before being dethroned in 1990. But the man nicknamed Kid Dynamite or Iron Mike is as much known for his sporting exploits as for his escapades outside the ring. He received a six-year prison sentence for rape in 1992.

Released for good behavior four years later, he took up the boxing gloves to regain his status as world champion, which he did. He threw in the towel in 2005 and retired from sport for good at the age of 39.

On the cinema side, Mike Tyson made a few appearances, from the end of the 1990s, where he each time played his own role: notably in Les Adversaires (1999), Black and White (id.), Crocodile Dundee III (2001), Rocky Balboa (2007), or the first two episodes of the lucrative and hilarious Hangover trilogy (2009 and 2011). In 2008, the former athlete was the subject of a brilliant documentary by James Toback , simply titled Tyson .
