Miranda Jane Richarson was born on the 3rd day of March 1958 and she spent her childhood in Southport, city of England. She has British nationality and her ethnicity is white. Little is known about her early school years, but we come to realize that she went to Bristol Old Vic Theater School in Bristol, England, where she was trained to improve her acting skills.

In a bid to practice what she taught her at school, Miranda joined the Southport Dramatic Club and took on small roles in plays like Cinderella and Lord Arthur Savile’s Crime. She then got a job as an assistant stage manager at the Manchester Library Theater and made several stage appearances. For the play, A Lie of the Mind she was nominated for an Olivier Award. She continues to act in many other plays and performs on various stages in England, but was last seen in Grasses of a Thousand Colors which was performed at the Royal Court Theater in May 2009.
