Neil Flynn Biography and Age
Neil Flynn was born on the 13th of November 1960 in the south side of Chicago state, United States of America. Details about his parents are not known, but we do know that Neil grew up in a devout Catholic family. He is of American nationality but is of Irish descent. He grew up in Waukegan, Illinois in a stable and loving family.
For his high school education, Neil Flynn attended Waukegan East High School in 1978 and that is where he began to delve into the world of acting and comedy. In 1979 he took part in the humorous duet with Mike Shklair that won the Illinois Individual Events State Championship. Perhaps this huge success sparked a fire in Neil to pursue an acting career. Neil attended Bradley University in Peoria for his university education and when he graduated in 1982 his first action was to return to the town where he was born. Chicago.
However, Neil Flynn didn’t begin acting until 1986, when he began working with the Goodman and Steppenwolf Theaters in Chicago. In 1986, he starred in The Ballad of the Sad Cafe and was eventually nominated for a Joseph Jefferson Award for his role in that film. In 1987, he appeared on television in CBS Summer Playhouse where he played the role of an LAPD officer in the episode titled Kung Fu: The Next Generation . When Neil made a big step forward in 1998, he founded his own improv group called “Beer Shark Mice” together with David Kirchner, which was active until 2015.
This talented actor is best known for his role on the medical series Scrubs . Interestingly, Neil Flynn auditioned for the role of Dr. Cox but was asked to play the role of caretaker. Although his character was only intended for one episode, he eventually became a regular and important character on the series. Scrubs first aired in 2001 and lasted 9 seasons with a total of 166 episodes. Neil appeared as a lead in seasons 2 through 8, although he made guest appearances in seasons 1 and 9.
Neil Flynn has also appeared in many other films in which he plays the role of a police officer or a father. Notable among these films are Mean Girls , Smallville , Joey , and Seinfeld . Interestingly, Neil played the role of an anonymous police officer in the movie Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy but his scene was not included in the final version. Neil Flynn not only acted in films, but also took an active part in dubbing. His voice acted in the Buzz Light Year of Star Command animated series and most notably he voiced the main characters Skidd McMarx and the Plumber in the Ratchet and Clamp games for the PlayStation 2. He also became the voice of Chuck in the DC Comics animated series called vixen .
