Nick Wright will not be an unknown name or an unrecognized face for anyone who follows the sport in the United States. Wright is a sportscaster who has hosted both radio and television sports shows, including First Things First, which he still co-hosts on FS1. Here’s everything you want to know about him.

Nick Wright Bio and Age

It was on October 3, 1984 that Nick Wright was born in the United States. Although it’s no secret that he grew up in Kansas City, the early moments of his life were overshadowed by the success of his later life. Previously, however, he studied at Syracuse University where he earned his degree in broadcast journalism.

Nick started his career as a student when he worked with WAER 88.3 FM where he hosted many shows. He also worked with Kansas City’s KCSP 610 AM, where he worked as a production assistant before he began hosting his own show, the What’s Wrong With Wright? 

From there, he would spend the next four years with KILT 610 AM in Houston, where he would begin to build a strong reputation as the host of In the Loop with Nick and Lopez. It was after finishing his job here that he moved to Fox Sports where he co-hosted ‘The Hard with Colin Cowher’. He would also co-host First Things First with Chris Carter and Jenna Wolfe.

The Sports Spectacle That Started airing in 2017 at 6:30 a.m. ET. According to Carter, the show will not be a talk show, rather, they would find stress points and make a compelling presentation.

While working with Kansas City’s KCSP 610 AM, Nick, who polarized and remained hugely popular with fans, was named Top Sports Personality of 2010 by The Pitcher

Wife, son and family

As a result of the very private life he lived, not much is known about his family or siblings. However, it is known that he is married to Danielle Wright. The two have quite an interesting love story. They met in 2007 when, according to Nick, his life was going the wrong way and he was depressed.

Shortly after meeting, love arrived and he demanded her release. Interestingly, Danielle was going on the first date with her two children. A bond between all of them was instantly created and translated into a marriage between Nick and Danielle in 2013.

Shortly after the wedding, Nick adopted Danielleson son, Dason Damonza and daughter Diorra as his children. The next member of the family is Deanna, who was born in October 2013. According to Nick Wright, his family was able to not only change his life but also save him entirely and for this reason he is always very emotional on Father’s Day. especially knowing that he might not be able to repay them for what they were able to do in his life.

  • Nick Wright Sr.

Wright once described his father, LouieWright, as a firefighter. However, he was in 2012, in fact the president of the Kansas City firefighters union. The Pitch noted that while Nick made it look like his dad spent his time in firefighter pants, he wasn’t exactly a firefighter, he was the head of the most powerful union in Kansas City.

  • His mother

Although not much is known about his family, as noted, the Pitcher also pointed out that his mother is Charlene Wright. She reportedly worked as a lawyer for Shook Hardy & Bacon from 2015.

Although Louie Wright and Charlene were married, they separated at some point in the 2000s after which Louie married Melinda.

  • Kansas City Chiefs Fan

Just as you would easily guess for a sports fan who has spent a very large part of his life in Kansas, Nick is a fan of the City Chiefs.

He showed his frustration with the team after losing to the Patriots in January 2017 at home. He apologized to fans for believing in the Chiefs.
