Paget Valerie Brewster was born on March 10, 1969 in Concord, Massachusetts, USA. She is an American actress known for her participation in Another Period (2013), Criminal Minds (2005) and Community (2009). She married actor Steve Damstra II in November 2014.

One of Brewster’s most recognized roles was as Kathy, the girlfriend of Joey and later Chandler on the hit NBC television series, Friends . She also played Jessica Green in the series Andy Richter Controls the Universe (2002) and between 2004 and 2006 she played Beth Huffstodt in the series Huff. From 2006 to 2012 she played Special Agent Emily Prentiss in the series Criminal Minds, and she returned in 2016 as a special guest in some episodes. She received an offer from Playboy magazine to pose as a cover model, which she rejected for professional reasons.

Her film career includes roles such as Mrs. Indestructible in the superhero comedy The Specials directed by James Gunn in 2000. Six years later she participated in the independent film The Big Bad Swim, directed by Ishai Setton.

She has extensive experience as a voice actress, as she has participated in various productions such as the animated series Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law, broadcast on Cartoon Network. She has also voiced various characters in the series Father Made in the USA and Dan Vs. In 2017 she voiced Poison Ivy in the animated film Batman and Harley Quinn.
