Paula White is an evangelical preacher who went to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. A televangelist, non-denominational pastor, she is often referred to as a “prosperity preacher”, with some criticizing what she stands for. It is a doctrine that preaches that God will bless his people with emotional, financial, and spiritual blessings if they take part in kingdom activities. She is senior pastor of New Destiny Christian Center, a multicultural, nondenominational church located in Apopka, Florida.

Paula White Biography,

Born in Tupelo, Mississippi on April 20, 1966, Paula was the daughter of Myra Joanelle and Donald Paul Furr, and they owned a toy and craft store. Her birth name was Paula Michelle Furr and her childhood was not easy. His parents had marital problems, and his mother moved to Memphis to take him. The situation drove her father to commit suicide, and Paula was only five years old. Donald’s death and the ensuing struggles caused Paula’s mother, Myra, to become an alcoholic. Paula grew up under the care of a babysitter. White claims she was sexually and physically abused between the ages of six and thirteen.

Paula moved to Washington DC when she was nine years old after her mother was remarried by a two-star US Navy admiral. White graduated from Seneca Valley High School in Germantown, Maryland. It was in 1984 that she converted to Christianity while living in Maryland. She claimed that it was around this time that she received a vision from God who had instructed her to preach the gospel.

Who is Paula White’s husband?

Paula White has been married three times. She was first hitched after becoming pregnant as a teenager and later married the father of her unborn child, Dean Knight, who was a local musician at the time. The couple had a son together and soon divorced. It was 1984, the year she became a born-again Christian.

After her divorce, Paula met Randy while he was visiting a church where she voluntarily served as a janitor. Paula and Randy became friends, saw each other for two months, and spent time working together in the ministry. While on tour in Israel, less than a year after meeting him, Randy proposed to Paula and she accepted.

Soon after moving to Tampa, Florida, they founded the South Tampa Christian Center in 1991. The ministry was later renamed Without the International Church. During the first eight years of the church, the church changed location three times before arriving at its main site. For the first two years, the church struggled financially, as one would expect, but later began to grow through various outreach programs. The church was growing and spreading in all directions, however, on August 23, 2004, Randy White announced that his marriage to Paula was over.

Relationship with Trump and Benny Hinn

The televangelist and business mogul had known each other for several years and during Donald Trump’s White House shooting in 2011, she helped him seek divine guidance. When Trump secured her candidacy for president in 2016, she continued to intercede on his behalf. She was named chair of the Evangelical Advisory Council of Mr. Trump’s administration. She also delivered the invocation during its inauguration. She is considered one of the president’s most trusted spiritual advisors.

In 2010, Paula White was photographed leaving a hotel in Rome with her fellow televangelist, Benny Hinn. Magazines that told the story claimed the pair were having an affair, but both parties have strongly denied any form of wrongdoing. Pastor Benny Hinn later said they were friends but strongly rejected the notion of adultery.
