The singer hails from Barbados and has successfully grafted herself into American and global society at large.

The “Good Girl Gone Bad ” never failed to prove to us that she “can be bad, but perfectly good,” her love life is certainly a testament to that. From her many back and forth to outrageous details that led to even more outrageous breakups, Riri has definitely taken us on the roller coaster that is her love life.
Rihanna’s boyfriend in 2003 who also happened to be her first boyfriend was Negus Sealy. The couple were spotted again 8 years later in Barbados and it looked like the relationship was back on.
Since 2005 when Jay-Z discovered her they have been rumored to be romantically involved, on many occasions they have had to squash the rumors. Rihanna’s most popular and probably most controversial relationship is with Chris Brown.
They were first spotted together in 2005, but officially dated in 2008, and their breakup was very dramatic. Chris Brown physically assaulted the Barbadian beauty and was arrested, leading to their first breakup, yes, I said first. In 2012 the couple rekindled their romance and in May 2013 the flames of their relationship were extinguished.
In 2009, Rihanna’s love interest was none other than American professional baseball player Matt Kemp. The relationship lasted about a year.
Drake and Rihanna also have that and that dynamic, he was first linked to Rihanna after her breakup with Chris Brown and the two confused everyone. As recently as last month, they dated, an insider tells E! News ‘He still loves her and has never stopped. Rihanna is the one who didn’t want to settle down in the past,” meaning Drake takes on the title “Rihanna’s Boyfriend.”
Rihanna’s parents
Rihanna was born in the home of Ronald Fenty and Monica Braithwaite, former warehouse supervisor and retired accountant respectively. Her father is of Barbadian and Irish descent while her mother is Afro-Guyanese; this earned Riri her mixed-race status.
The Fenty household has seen more than its fair share of turmoil; while she was growing up, her father was an alcoholic and a crack addict. On more than one occasion, he beat Monica and also got his hands on Rihanna. When she was 14, the marriage ended.
Lately, she has maintained a good relationship with both of her parents, although she had a bad time with her father and refused to talk to him after selling information to the press about her falling out with Chris Brown.
Her mother on the other hand remains sweetheart, once on Oprah, Rihanna said she often sent gifts to her mother, Monica, but they were sent back to her if Monica thought they were too expensive. One such gift was a five-bedroom house in Barbados.

Apart from her brothers, Rorrey and Rajad, who share the same mother and father as the star, she has half-siblings. Before meeting Rihanna’s parents, her father had three relationships. The siblings have all met and interacted on different occasions.
Rihanna’s sisters
The star has two sisters and she first met her older sister Kandy when she was just 15. Kandy is a pharmacist assistant in Barbados and she has two daughters, Brandy and Crystal.
Rihanna’s other sister is named Samantha and she is a policy consultant for regional governments in the Caribbean. She met Rihanna when the star was only three years old and the two got along very well.

Rihanna has three brothers in total and one of them is her brother-in-law. His name is Jamie and he is a graphic designer.
His younger brothers are Rorrey and Rajad Fenty; she is unquestionably closer to them than to the rest of her siblings.
