BIOGRAPHY
Ron Livingston brilliantly studied theater and English literature at the prestigious Yale University. He then joined the Williamstown Theater Festival and made his first steps on the stage.

It was in 1992 that the actor obtained his first film role in Frank Talk by Dolly Parton . He then packed his bags in Los Angeles and started his acting career. He obtained his first important role in 1996 with the film Swingers under the direction of Doug Liman .

After a stint on the small screen in Timecop or The Players, the masters of the game , the actor returned to the cinema in 1999 with the comedy 35 Hours, It’s Already Too Much where he opposite Jennifer Aniston . Television reached out to him again in the early 2000s.

In fact, the actor stood out successively in the successful series Brothers in Arms and The Practice . He plays Captain Lewis Nixon in one and Assistant District Attorney Alan Lowe in the other. The actor also plays Jack Berger, one of Carrie’s boyfriends in the popular series Sex and the City during seasons 5 and 6 of the show.

The actor then took on more or less important roles on the big screen, notably in Spike Jonze ‘s Adaptation in 2002, Winter Solstice in 2004 or My Real Father and Me in 2006 where he shared the poster with Danny DeVito .

The actor subsequently distinguished himself in very different registers. From pure comedy like The Dinner , the American remake of our Dinner of Cons to horror-horror with The Conjuring through romance with Hors du temps , Ron Livingston always stands out for his ability to make any role.

In 2013, he was cast as Detective Roy Phillips in the hit gangster series Boardwalk Empire . Very prolific, the artist has a series of projects; we will soon find him in Shangri-La Suite in which he plays no less than King Elvis Presley himself and in The 5th Wave , a sci-fi film with Chloƫ Grace Moretz .
