However, the couple separated in 2014 after Rosie O’Donnell filed for divorce in February 2015. Their divorce was finalized on March 30, 2016, and custody of their daughter, Dakota, was awarded to O’Donnell. Sadly, Michelle Rounds tragically committed suicide on September 15, 2017.
Prior to the aforementioned marital union, O’Donnell was in a long-term relationship with TV marketing executive Kelli Carpenter. Interestingly, she had another crush on love in 2017 when she met a much younger woman, Elizabeth Rooney, a police officer from Worcester, Massachusetts.
