BIOGRAPHY
A fan of young talent competitions from an early age, Ryan Gosling was chosen in the 1990s to be part of the Mickey Mouse Club team , before becoming known to the general public by playing young Hercules on television in the series Hercules against Ares in 1998. It was in 2000 that he landed his first important role, that of a football player trained by Denzel Washington in The Most Beautiful of Fights . The following year, his portrayal of a violent and anti-Semitic skinhead in Danny Balint (2001), which won the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival, was praised by critics.
