BIOGRAPHY
Sacha Baron Cohen, born to an Israeli mother and a Welsh father, took theater lessons as a teenager during the 1980s. Sent for a year to a kibbutz in Israel, he developed his comedic talents while studying for a diploma. of History at the prestigious University of Cambridge . The Paramount Comedy Channel hired him in 1996 to perform comedic transitions between programs. Two years later, he participated in a British satirical show, The 11 O’clock show , where he played for the first time the character of Ali G.

Ali G is, according to his creator, a young man contaminated by exported values by American society, thinking that to be cool, you just have to imitate your idols.
