BIOGRAPHY
Actor, screenwriter and director, Sam Levinson made his acting debut in the film Toys (1992). Subsequently, he appeared in films such as Vida Bandida (2002), Stoic (2009) and The Directors (2011). In 2011, Levinson won an award at the Sundance Film Festival for best screenplay for his directorial debut Another Happy Day (2011). He also wrote the screenplay for the television film The Wizard of Lies (2017), which was directed by his father, Barry Levinson.
He recently released his solo project, Killer Nation (2018), an action comedy starring Joel McHale, Bella Thorne and Suki Waterhouse, and of which he was the writer and director. Although the film had a fairly promising cast, critics did not praise Levinson’s directorial work much. He is currently filming the series Euphoria, a project that delves into the most common themes in the lives of adolescents, such as sex, drugs and alcohol. The project has a release date of 2019, although it is not confirmed what time of year.
