After an appearance in Zombi Child , by Bertrand Bonello, Sayyid El Alami stood out in 2020 in the Netflix series Messiah . In this geopolitical-religious thriller by Michael Petroni , he plays Jibril Medina, a Palestinian refugee who crosses paths with a mysterious stranger perceived by some as the new Messiah.

Building on this experience, in 2021 the young actor landed the role that propelled him into the spotlight: that of Sami Kacem in the TF1 event series Une si longue nuit .
