The successful journalist began her travel education at an elementary school in her hometown of Tallahassee, Florida, then continued her education at North Florida Christian High School in Tallahassee where she graduated in 1988 at age 17.

Moving on to college, Shannon earned a degree in business administration from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, graduating in 1992.

In college in 1990, she entered the Miss Virginia beauty pageant and emerged victorious. She went one step further by entering the Miss America pageant in 1991, even though she didn’t win, Shannon Bream was a top 10 finalist that year. His scholarship supported much of his education.

After graduating from Liberty University in 1993, Shannon Bream returned to Tallahassee and studied law at Florida State University School of Law.

While in law school at Florida State, she won the Miss Florida USA Pageant (1995) and competed in the 1995 Miss USA Pageant, finishing in fourth place.

Shannon graduated from Florida State University College of Law in 1996 and moved to Tampa, Florida where she began her legal career.

But his ambition as a journalist has always been his ambition. So she eventually changed careers, moving from the legal profession to a career in TV news.

Shannon Bream moved to Charlotte, North Carolina in 2001 and became the evening and late-night reporter for CBS affiliate WBTV.

After three years working with WBTV, she joined NBC’s Washington D.C. affiliate WRC-TV. There she was a weekend anchor and covered general assignments.
