Sheri Lyn Skurkis is a native Californian26. September 1970. She and her younger brother were born William and Carol Skurkis. Although she was born in San Jose, Sheri grew up in Torrington, Connecticut. Her academic records show that she attended Plainville High School and later the Connecticut School of Broadcasting. Her choice of college was inspired by a long-term dream of becoming a media personality, and VJ Sheri did not graduate from career college for reasons unknown. She later moved to Los Angeles to pursue other interests.
Sheri Moon Zombie made her acting debut in 2003 as Vera-Ellen “Baby” Firefly in House of 1000 Corpses , judged by her husband Rob Zombie. Due to her outstanding performance in the film, Zombie not only won the hearts of many but also established herself as one of the leading horror actresses. She has later acted in all horror films directed by her husband and several others.

Sheri Moon Zombie’s significant other is musician and film director Robert Cummings, now known as Rob Zombie. The couple’s love journey dates back to 1993 when they first crossed paths at a Connecticut club. Interestingly, their story isn’t about love at first sight, as Rob had to work his way into Sheri’s heart. They soon formed a romantic connection and began living together.

However, during her voice acting training, she met her future husband Rob, who was part of the White Zombie Band and later a solo artist. Sheri first worked with her husband as a choreographer and dancer in the band before they broke up.
