Stephaine was born and raised in New Jersey, in a small town named Park Ridge. She studied at Lehigh University and graduated with honors. She also graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in International Business in 1997. Stephaine toured the world, traveling to three continents for her majors, she traveled to Guatemala to study and toured as well. in Italy and eventually ended up in Kenya, Africa.

Having a degree in international business before entering the television business has helped her gain a lot of perspective on certain issues. She worked for 14 years in the financial industry and started working in hedge fund sales in 1997.
