1. Nairobi

4. Eldoret
It is the fastest growing city in Kenya and currently has the fourth largest population. Eldoret is located south of the Cherangani Hills at an elevation of around 2350 feet above sea level. The airport in this city is considered to be the best in the country.
5. Kisumu
It is a port city and a major commercial hub located on the western side of the country. The city is famous today because former US President Barrack Obama’s father hails from a village near this city.

Thika is one of the industrial cities in Kenya with about 200,000 people living in it. 7. Kitale
Kitale is one of the largest cities in Kenya, which was founded in 1908 by the British on a colonial mission to Kenya. It is known for its large basket of farm products. The city is the administrative center of Trans Nzoia. Tourist attractions in Kitale include the National Museum of Western Kenya, the Kitale Museum and an agroforestry centre, including Saiwa Swamp National Park which is nearby.
8. Malindi
Malindi (formerly Melinde) is among the top 10 most populous cities in Kenya. Its location is very close to the Galena River. Economic activities in Malindi include tourism, which is particularly popular with Italian visitors. Other attractions in this area include Malindi Airport and the Broglio Space Center.
9. Garissa
Garissa has a population of 623,060 as of the 2009 census and is the administrative center of Garissa County, the former province in north-eastern Kenya. 10. Kakamega
Located in western Kenya, Kakamega is the second largest county in Kenya after Nairobi. The main attractions for tourists include the Kakamega Forest and the Tartar of Ilesi located along the highway towards Kisumu. The stone is 40 meters high and resembles a human figure with “eyes” that drop water.
