Ty Simpkins is an American actor who started as a child and has become a famous name in Hollywood. He is known for starring in films such as Jurassic World (2015), Iron Man 3 (2013) and Insidious (2011).

Active since 2005, Simpkins has appeared in several films and television shows. To date he has appeared in more than a dozen films and has been nominated for four awards for his roles in Jurassic World (x3) and Iron Man 3 (x1). He won the 2016 Best Performance by a Young Actor award for his performance in the American science fiction adventure film Jurrasic World.

Ty Simpkins was born on August 6, 2001 in New York City and grew up with his older sister, Ryan Simpkins, who is also an actress. He graduated from high school in New York City and has been a child actor all along.

Simpkins caught audiences’ attention at the tender age of 5 in 2006 when he appeared in the acclaimed drama Little Children He had previously appeared on screen for the first time at just three weeks old.

Ty appeared on the soap opera A Life to Live from 2001-2002, followed by a recurring role as Jude Cooper Bauer on Paragon (2001-2005). He then made his film debut in Steven Spielberg’s film career War of the Worlds (2005) as a three-year-old.

He also appeared as a guest on the television series Law & Order: Offense, as well as a handful of commercials and print ads. Simpkins played a young version of Jude Law’s character in the 2006 political drama film All the King’s Men That same year, he played the role of Aaron in the award-winning drama Little Children, a film based on the 2004 novel of the same name and directed by Tom Perrotta was written. He acted alongside his sister Ryan in Pride and Fame in 2008, in which they were introduced as the children of Colin Farrell.

Ty Simpkins was commissioned with two other film projects that year, including Gardens of the Night (2008) and then Revolutionary Street (2008), a film he again co-directed with his real-life sister, Ryan Simpkins.

He made a guest appearance on Family of Four and CSI, Private Practice and later signed on to portray the character of Luke in The Next Three Days (2010). His follow-up and feature film projects include: Insidious (2011); Arcadia (2012); Insidious: Chapter 2 (2013).

His role as Harley Keener in 2013’s Iron Man 3, along with Robert Downey, Jr., made it the first time a child actor had been featured in the Marvel Comics character. He also signed a 3-picture deal with the film studio and later starred in the 2016 film, The Nice Boys.

In 2015 he co-starred in three films including the blockbuster Jurassic World; Executioner and played Adam in the film Meadowland.

In addition to portraying the talented star on screen, he lent his voice to video games such as Lego Dimension (2015), Lego Jurassic Park (2015), as well as in Lego Marvel’s Avengers (2016). He was last seen in the film Barbados They are believed to be working on another big project which is in post-production in 2019.

As for his net worth, the 5ft 6 inch tall actor has been working and is still working towards increasing his estimated net worth of $2 million.

Family – parents, girlfriend

Ty Simpkins is the only son and second born of his parents, Monique Simpkins and Stephen Simpkins. He comes from a home of Christain and the family has a close bond, which he occasionally shares on his Instagram page. The young actor and his family currently reside in Los Angeles, California.

Much to the chagrin of many fans crushing Ty Simpkins has a girlfriend, Jordan Wilson, whom he shared in a photo on Instagram with a sweet caption, “She’s almost as dreamy as his ‘eyes’.”

While some fans continued to praise her photos on Instagram, others didn’t find them amusing or happy about them. When he first posted a picture with Jordan on Twitter titled “My Girl,” on August 25, 2015, fans speculated as to whether or not she really was his girlfriend. Then he made it clear on September 28, 2017, after tweeting about his “girlfriend” in one of his Twitter posts.
