BIOGRAPHY
Vincent Schiavelli comes from a family originally from Polizzi
Generosa, a Sicilian village where he has made his main residence in recent years with his partner, the actress Katia Vitale . He owes his first appearance in the cinema to director Milos Forman , who hired him on the set of Taking off in 1971. The two men would never leave each other, collaborating on One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (1975), Amadeus (1984), Valmont (1989), Larry Flynt (1997) and Man on the Moon (2000).

The actor also displays his giant physique (nearly two meters) in fantastic films like Blade Runner (1982) by Ridley Scott and Batman, the Challenge (1991) by Tim Burton , and is illustrated as a simpleton hitman in the “Bondian” Tomorrow Never Dies (1997). He has never been given major roles, but each of his appearances on screen remains notable, as in Ghost , where he plays opposite Patrick Swayze a disturbing ghost in the New York subway.

Very present on the small screen since the series The Corner bar (1972), where he played one of the first gay characters on American television, he has played small roles in series as diverse as Starsky and Hutch , Two Cops in Miami and
Buffy the Vampire Slayer . His last appearance in the cinema dates back to the Italian drama Miracle in Palermo , released in France on October 19, 2005.
