Kyle Griffin is an American journalist and television producer, born to Janice L. Griffin and Harry P. Griffin on July 10, 1986 in New York, United States. His parents are both New Yorkers. His mother, Janice Griffin, is from Rensselaer, New York, while his father, Harry Griffin, is from Castleton-on-Hudson, New York. The media personality was raised in New York and he also studied there. Kyle graduated from the College of St. Rose in Albany, New York, where he majored in Communication and English. He also holds a master’s degree in strategic public relations from George Washington University.

Kyle’s father is a retired media marketing consultant from the Time Union, a daily newspaper in Albany. His mother, on the other hand, is a preschool teacher at the Small World Nursery School in Troy.

Griffin started as an assistant producer at WNYT, where he worked between 2006 and 2008, in New York. He then worked at MSNBC for 7 months in 2008 while still in college. He worked as an associate producer for 14 months at NBC News. Kyle researched, wrote and copied for NBC News.

From 2009 to 2012, Kyle Griffin worked as a producer for MSNBC, where he produced daily monologues for the Reverend Al Sharpton and also managed video content. He then moved to Australia in 2012 and started working for Yahoo!. He spent little time at the web service provider and he worked as an associate producer.
