Shawn Johnson married NFL player AndrewEst on April 16, 2016. Their wedding was intimate and took place outdoors at a private farm in Tennessee. Shawn and Andrew met in 2013 after being met by East’s brother, who is also an athlete.

Two years after meeting, East in July 2015 offered Shawn a trip to Wrigley Field just before a Chicago Cubs baseball game.

Andrew East was born on September 17, 1991 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He is just a year older than Johnson. He attended North Central Indianapolis (IN) where he started playing football. After graduating, Andrew enrolled at Vanderbilt College where he played American football as a lifelong player. After earning his undergraduate degree, East also earned a Masters in Business Administration from the same school.

He started his pro football career with the Kansas City Chiefs on May 11, 2015. He was signed by the Oakland Raiders in April 2016 but was waived four months later. After being signed and waived by the Los Angeles Rams, East returned to the Oakland Raiders. In January 2018, it was reported that the snapper player had signed a reserve/future contract with the Raiders.
