A tally of the icons of Americans’ entertainment industry won’t be conclusive if film and voice actress Diana Muldaur isn’t mentioned. Diana is one of the most versatile actresses in history whose screen appearance can grab everyone’s attention and there is no doubt that she is a true screen legend as she holds a record of over ninety television roles and several feature films.
Diana’s stage career began in 1963 when she made guest appearances in three Broadway plays namely; Poor Biros, Seidelman and Sons and A Very Rich Woman. She also had a recurring role on The Secret Storm – a Manhattan-based soap opera. It was in 1968 that she played her first film role on the set of Le nageur. Diana Muldaur has been recognized for her maturity and poise beyond her years, which has resulted in her being cast in cool and classy roles, often coming in intentional contrast to her less polished male counterparts. Eventually, her big break came on the set of The Survivors.– a high-profile ABC primetime series that cast her in the lead role of Belle in 1969, but sadly the show was shut down after 15 episodes in early 1970.

The birthplace of the actress is Brooklyn, New York which makes her an American national but her ethnicity is not known. Her date of birth reveals that she was born on August 19, 1938 with the given name Diana Charlton Muldaur. She spent her formative years in Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts, under the care of her parents.
Talking about her academic qualifications and background, Diana Muldaur is an alumnus of Sweet Briar College, Virginia – an all-women institution, where she graduated in 1960. It is important to note that the famous actress served as a lecturer for her question from Alma during her graduation on May 7, 2000. Not much is known about her early education, but records indicate that her acting career took off during her high school years and she continued to act throughout his college years.
Later, Diana Muldaur went to study acting under veteran Stella Adler and went on to make a name for herself on the New York stage. She then joined the Screen Actors Guild as a board member and she made the record as the first woman to ascend to the exalted position of President of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. A position she held in 1983 and served until 1985, when she finally resigned.

His mother and father are Alice Patricia Muldaur and Charles Edward Arrowsmith Muldaur although details of their occupations are unknown. However, it is known that Diana Muldaur has only one brother Geoff Muldaur, her younger brother who grew up to be a singer-songwriter. Her brother, Geoff, is said to have a marriage relationship with Maria Muldaur – a notable singer. Additionally, Diane’s nieces are Jenni Muldaur and Clare Muldaur-Manchon who are both musicians. She is also a cousin of Kathy Baker’s father.
The popular Star Trek actress has featured a few times on the marital front which began with her first marriage to James Vickery – a renowned actor known for several productions. The couple met on the set of The Secret Storm where they both starred as co-stars in 1965. The duo moved to California in 1968 and their nuptials took place the following year on July 26, 1969. James’ marriage to Diana Muldaur lasted over ten years until her husband’s death in 1979 due to complications from cancer.
Her second foray into marriage was with Robert Dozier – a famed producer, cum writer and son of film producer William Dozier. They married on October 11, 1981, just three years after Diana’s first husband died. However, Robert had prostate cancer and died on January 6, 2012 after nearly 21 years of marriage.
Apparently, Diana Muldaur is currently single and there is no record of any offspring from her first and second marriage.
